Reynaldo Gil, Mobile Social Chief, Cloud Inventor

Reynaldo is a Silicon Valley entrepreneur, inventor and cloud computing pioneer with over 20 years of enterprise software, IT and web application development experience. He is currently launching the BPR Cloud Institute and deploying a ReyLabs EdTech cloud system designed to accelerate IT training for ESL students and professionals.  Mr. Gil is also the Executive Director for What Do You Want To Be, Inc., a nonprofit offering opportunities to minorities in the IT field. He has been helping Global 500 enterprises, small businesses and non-profits become efficient using cloud computing, mobile web and social media technologies. Mr. Gil advises many Silicon Valley entrepreneur groups, leaders and vendors.

Mr. Gil is a global Internet pioneer. His award winning cloud-based supply chain applications collectively saved Dell and other companies hundreds of millions of dollars. The applications enabled their global small business partners to operate more efficiently. Reynaldo is the primary inventor of three recently issued supply chain management cloud computing patents. One of his patents is cited by more than 94.4% of other patents.

Mr. Gil has been building Internet systems since 1992 and mobile Internet software since 2006 when Intel created the category. As an Intel Early Access Developer, he led the development of concept versions of mobile applications for touchscreen Netbooks and Tablet/Smartphones years before the iPad and iPhone. His applications were used by Intel to demonstrate device ideas to manufacturers including LG, Samsung, Sony and at media shows around the world. Mr. Gil presented at Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show (CES), Mobile World Congress and Intel Developer Forums. He also consulted with clients in Spain, China, Korea and the U.S. He has conducted workshops for emerging economy clients from over 31 countries.

Reynaldo began his career leading teams building enterprise software platforms and web applications for companies like IBM, Dell, Intel and Charles Schwab. He also previously served in Founder, VP or CTO positions in Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) companies including WorldChain, Vitria and CrossWorlds. He was the CEO of ZeroVirtual before ReyLabs. Mr. Gil received his B.S., Information Systems Management degree from the University of San Francisco. He is a founder of Hispanic-Net.

Linda Gil, Managing Partner

Linda Gil is a Managing Partner of Reylabs and co-founder of CamaraCard. She oversees the management of the company with her husband and Mobile Apps expert, Reynaldo Gil. Her mission is to help small businesses create many types of skilled jobs through our social media website, bprcloud.org (coming soon). Learn, launch and grow is our tag line. Linda also wants to expand the pool of mobile app developers to serve small businesses.

She began her career working at IBM in the finance department while still attending school.

Linda held numerous project management positions while raising her family including Art Docent at her son’s elementary school and later at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in San Jose. She also worked in property management for Blackhawk Plaza in Danville, CA where she was responsible for contractual relationships with tenants and contractors. LInda also planned and managed special events at the Plaza.

Linda later specialized in small business and non-profit financial management. She provided bookkeeping services to various small businesses while her children attended school. Linda held the position of Business Manager at a local church in Palo Alto doubling revenues within the first year. She worked with other non-profits in the Palo Alto area.

She is now a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Silicon Valley and is an SBDC Certified Business Advisor. Linda recently managed to secure sponsors for the 2011 Christmas Mixer as a member of the event planning and management team.

Linda comes from an entrepreneurial family. Her late father was a small business leader in Silicon Valley.

She feels extremely grateful to have balanced her family life and continue her own pursuits while traveling the world and meeting wonderful people working in partnership with her husband.

Linda graduated from Notre Dame High School in San Jose. She later attended Evergreen Valley College and San Jose State University focusing on business. Linda Gil is bilingual: English/Spanish
